“My Name Is Siri” short film
This is the trailer for a short documentary I produced with Emmy Award-Winning director Sarah Moshman, edited by Michelle Noland. Released on PBS May 1, 2023.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, the Chettipally family has been quietly raising 3 children for the past 30 years. One of their children is the incredible Siri, who was diagnosed with non-verbal autism at age 3. Against all odds, Siri bravely fought through many hurdles to create a meaningful life while also learning to communicate like never before. MY NAME IS SIRI is an inspirational story about resilience, a mother's unconditional love, and a family determined to create a better life for their daughter.
#SomeoneYouLove PSA
The abortion rights campaign video I produced in partnership with Supermajority and Gutsy Media, called “Someone You Love”. Released in 2022, right before the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade in the Dobbs v Jackson decision. This campaign reminds people across the United States that the person needing an abortion is likely someone you love. 1 in 4 women in America will have an abortion in her lifetime.
TEDx Normal
“Re-framing Reproductive Rights: Going Beyond Pro-Choice vs Pro Life” I shared my big idea surrounding what it would it look like if we took the most divisive topic in America and changed the narrative beyond pro-choice and pro-life. Can abortion be seen through the lens other than the narrow binary that currently exists? This talk was given in 2018 and published online in 2019.
Soul Pancake
I was featured in a 2018 Soul Pancake storytelling campaign called “That Moment”. In this video, created in partnership with Planned Parenthood, I shared my story of going through a divorce at 29, leaving my conservative Evangelical church, and finding a new path forward.
